CREDIT ANALYST, RISK MANAGEMENT

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join Credibility Capital, a small business lender. This is a junior level position and is ideal for an individual with a quantitative background who is interested in credit analytics, the small business landscape and risk management. About this role

  • Monitor application trends and loan book performance to improve underwriting and portfolio management strategies
  • Evaluate potential new data sources for use in underwriting decisioning
  • Maintain master data sets to allow for quick internal and external (investor) reporting
  • Work collaboratively with other groups e.g., the Sales, Operations, Finance and Engineering teams

Who we're looking for

  • Strong quantitative skills and a degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience in at least one statistical language e.g., MATLAB, R, Python, SAS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with applicants and customers on the phone
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Previous lending experience is a big plus
